meet  the  team!

MP Fit Club & Studio has over 20 certified instructors, each with their own unique background, certifications, and teaching style! While we may have different styles we all have the same goal - motivate and encourage people to get fit and have FUN while doing it!

Beth Birgy
Owner and Instructor

Beth has owned MP Fit Club & Studio since July 1, 2014 and has been certified and teaching group fitness classes since 2009.  She has her group fitness certification through AFAA, has certifications/trainings in Turbo Kick, TRX, RIPPED, Insanity, PiYo, RIP, SPIN, Stroops, P90X, AMPD Kettlebell, AMPD Strength, MOSSA Group Power, CPR/AED, Stages BEATS, Boxing & Barbells, Schwinn Indoor Cycling, and Lagree. She has also taken advanced cycle trainings with Kristina Girod and Lauren Bowman.

​At MP Fit Club she teaches almost everything! Cardio Boxing, Kickboxing, Anything Goes Cardio, Triple Threat, MP Power, Rhythm Ride, ReformX, all Strength classes & more!

Monica Leaureaux
Studio Manager / Lead Cycle Instructor​
Monica began her instructing journey in November of 2019 after joining MP Fit Club in June of 2016!
 She is certified in CPR/AED, Group Exercise, TRX, Stroops, MOSSA Group Power, BOSU Next Generation Balance, Comprehensive Rhythm Cycling, Stages BEATS, Barre Above, Lagree, and Mat Pilates. Monica has also taken advanced cycle trainings with Kristina Girod and Lauren Bowman.

Monica teaches Rhythm Ride, Barre, ReformX, and Pilates.

Katherine Squire
Lead Barre Instructor
Katherine has been teaching at MP Fit Club since 2016 after joining as a member in 2015! She is certified in Stroops, TRX, Barre Above - Level 2, Shockwave, WERQ, P90X, MOSSA Group Power, Schwinn Indoor Cycling, and CPR/AED. 

Katherine teaches Barre, Barre: Human Reformer, MP Power, Kickboxing, Cycle & Strength, and all Strength classes.

Kelsey Driessnack
​Lead Gym Instructor​​
Kelsey has been with MP Fit Club since 2016 and instructing since 2020. She is certified in CPR/AED, Group Exercise, Boxing & Barbells, and Functional Training.

Kelsey teaches Kickboxing, Total Body Training, Triple Threat, Boxing, and all Strength classes!

Kelsey offers virtual Personal Training services, and Small Group Training. ​She also loves teaching private youth classes for teams & groups!

Julie Maxon
​​Julie is a long time member and instructor at MP Fit Club! She holds certifications in Group Fitness, TRX, CPR/AED and teaches all Strength classes.

Tracy Wood
Tracy has been an instructor at MP Fit Club since June of 2017. She is a NASM certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach, and Small Group Trainer. Tracy also holds certifications in Shockwave, Stroops, TRX, CPR/AED, Group Exercise, & Myofascial Release Foam Roller.

Mike Lents
​Mike is a longtime instructor at MP Fit Club! He has been teaching group fitness classes for over 10 years and has been with MP Fit Club since the very beginning. He specializes in delivering killer full body workouts that target and burn out each muscle group.

​Mike teaches all Strength classes!

Nicki Schlicht
Nicki has been a group fitness instructor since 2010, and has been with MP Fit Club since the beginning! She is an ICON/Master Trainer for POUND and a Generation POUND Ambassador, and is certified in WERQ Dance Fitness, MOSSA Group Power, Xtreme Hip Hop Step, Shockwave, Barre Above and CPR/AED.

​At MP Fit she teaches POUND, POUND Unplugged, MP Power, WERQ, and Barre.

Marissa became a member of MP Fit Club in January 2015 and began instructing in March of 2019. She is certified in Stroops, TRX, and Schwinn Indoor Cycling.

​Marissa enjoys teaching a variety of classes including Total Body Training, Kickboxing, all Strength classes, and Cycle & Strength.

Stef has been with MP Fit since 2016 and has been instructing since 2020. She is certified in MOSSA Group Power, Comprehensive Rhythm Cycling, Stages BEATS, Boxing & Barbells, Barre Above, Barre: Human Reformer, and CPR/AED.

At the gym Stef teaches MP Power, Rhythm Ride, Barre, Barre: Human Reformer, and ReformX!

Stephanie started teaching Yoga at MP Fit Club in 2022. Although her yoga journey began over 20 years ago, she recently obtained her 200 hour yoga teacher certification and is Yoga Alliance certified.

​Stephanie teaches all Yoga & Hot Yoga classes at MP Fit!

​Whitney has been with us since 2022, and an instructor since 2024! She is certified in Comprehensive Rhythm Cycling, Stages BEATS, Barre Above, Mat Pilates, and CPR/AED.

Jennifer Jones
​Jennifer has been teaching group fitness for almost 25 years! She has been with MP Fit Club since 2021, teaching the Beginner Bootcamps and Yoga. Jennifer is a 200hr ERYT - Expert Registered Yoga Teacher and is Yogafit Level 3 Certified.

Ashli has been a member at MP Fit since the very beginning! She has always loved the atmosphere of the gym and the #MPFitFam. She joined our instructor team in the spring of 2024! She is certified in Functional Training & CPR/AED.

​Ashli teaches all Strength classes, Triple Threat, Total Body Training, and Kickboxing!

Jody has been a member of MP Fit Club since 2018 and started her instructing journey in April of 2021! She is trained and certified in Comprehensive Rhythm Cycling, Stages BEATS, and Lagree. 

​Jody teaches Total Body Training, Kickboxing, Rhythm Ride, and ReformX.

Sam Towers
Sam has been with MP Fit since 2022, and an instructor since 2024! Growing up, she was a competitive gymnast and was looking for a way to stat active in college when she found MP Fit Club & Studio. She is currently a Senior at CMU majoring in Dietetics!

Sam teaches all Strength classes and holds certifications in Fuctional Training and CPR/AED.

Jordan Rios
​Jordan has been teaching yoga since 2021, but began her journey with MP Fit Club in 2023. Jordan is currently a RYT-registered yoga teacher, with specialty certifications in aerial yoga & private yoga. As a a member of Yoga Alliance, Jordan strives to build classes for individuals with varying levels of practice that promote community and connection at the mat. She is also certified in Lagree.

At the club, Jordan teaches all Yoga classes and ReformX!

​Taylor began instructing at MP Fit Club in 2025 after falling in love as a member! She is currently a certified Personal Trainer.

At the gym, Taylor teaches all Strength classes and also offers Personal and Small Group Training.
