Class Descriptions

Body Sculpt
Tone, strengthen, and build lean muscle with our body sculpt class that hits all your muscles.  Our body sculpt classes mainly utilize dumbbells to chisel your body.  This class is suitable for all fitness levels, is low-impact, and utilizes a variety exercises to keep your body progressing.

Kickboxing
This great cardio kickboxing class uses high energy music, pads, and standing bags to burn tons of calories!  Punch and kick your way to a lean body and torch tons of calories having fun!

Anything Goes Cardio
Just as it says, anything goes!  Expect to work hard, get your heart rate up, and have fun doing a variety of exercises using several different pieces of equipment or just your own body weight!  No two classes are ever  exactly the same!

TRX
The TRX Suspension Trainer is the original, best-in-class workout system that leverages gravity and your bodyweight to perform hundreds of exercises. You're in control of how much you want to challenge yourself on each exercise - because you can simply adjust your body position to add or decrease resistance.  Get a great core workout the entire time you are working your other muscles!  All fitness levels can use the TRX, and it is also used by the military, major league baseball teams, and Olympic athletes!

Barre

Lunch Crunch
In a hurry to get in a great workout during your lunch hour?  Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays are cardio focused and are a lot like Anything Goes Cardio-you never know what you are going to get exactly, but are guaranteed to have fun, burn lots of calories, and get in a great workout in just 45 minutes!  Tuesdays are body sculpt day and Thursdays at lunch are TRX.

MP Power
Is a cutting-edge strength training workout designed to get you muscle strong and movement strong. It combines traditional strength training with full-body, innovative exercises using an adjustable barbell, weight plates, body weight, a step, heart-pounding music, and expert coaching.

Wednesday Warrior
Our signature MP Fit Club class that utilizes partner stations and incorporates lots of cardio and strength in fun ways!  Be prepared to swing a sledge hammer, push and pull some bags, slams some battle ropes, hit the pull-up bar, and do some sprints!

TurboKick
TurboKick is a combination of kickboxing moves, athletic moves, and lots of fun combinations all perfectly in tune to high energy and motivating music.  It's the ultimate cardiovascular challenge that's a unique blend of intense intervals, strength & endurance training, and a relaxing cool-down.  Turbo Kick requires no previous kickboxing experience or equipment.  You will find the right intensity for you.  All fitness levels are welcome to this class.  

WERQ
WERQ is the fiercely fun dance fitness class based on pop, rock, and hip hop music. The warm up previews the dance steps in class and the cool down combines yoga-inspired static stretching and balance poses. WERQ is taught by Certified Fitness Professionals, so the WERQout is safe and effective.

Kick & Sculpt
Get your kickboxing and body sculpt workout all wrapped up into one!  Intervals of kickboxing and strength rev the metabolism, burn calories, and work your muscles all in one hour!


Rise & Shine
Start your Saturday morning off bright and early with our "Rise & Shine" class!  This class features intervals of cardio and strength to kick start your body at 7:00am on a Saturday!  Focused strength intervals paired with heart pumping cardio will get the job done in 55 minutes!  HIIT Intervals is the same cardio and strength combo format to burn lots of calories, sculpt lean muscles, and boost your metabolism.

Cardio Boxing
Total body boxing workouts (which require gloves) will have you boxing like a pro. You will grab a heavy bag or a standing bag and will get ready for a workout that will prepare you to fight for your fitness. You will get your blood pumping with a complete range of exercises including shadow boxing, stretching, calisthenics, and cardio drills to prepare your body for striking the heavy bag.  Your instructor will lead you round after round on the heavy bags. You will experience technique drills with jab, hook, cross and upper cut punch combinations on the heavy bag, and fat-blasting fun during the rounds!

Triple Threat
​This fat blasting combo of 20 minutes of hard-core strength training, 20 minutes of intense cardio, and 20 minutes of core work will have you sweating as the time flies by!  Get all three components in in 60 min flat!

​POUND

If you've dreamed of channeling your inner rock star into a fitness plan, it's time to POUND. Created by two female drummers, the POUND workout fuses cardio interval training with drumming to provide a challenging, heart-pumping workout.

HIIT
​High Intensity Interval Training!  A combination of cardio and strength high intensity intervals that are sure to set your metabolism on fire!  You will do high intensity work periods paired with recovery periods to bun maximum calories!

Endurance Row
Endurance Row is a total-body, heart-pounding group workout using WaterRower® machines that strengthens legs, sculpts and tones the core, and tightens your arms, all without the impact on the joints. Rowing is excellent for all fitness levels. New to rowing? No worries! Learn proper form and everything else you need to know at class! Ready for a fun and effective low-impact cardio workout that burns 400-800 calories in a single class?

Ropes & Row
This 45 minute class will be sure to have you sweating, and coming back for more! It features two amazingly effective pieces of equipment.....WaterRowers® and Stroops® bands! Each class will have you rowing away and teaming up to burn big calories battling it out on the Stroops® bands!

Body Boost & Restore
This class will focus on targeting strength, mobility, stability and flexibility for a full body boost and restoration. There will be fun opportunities to challenge and then heal your muscles and ligaments so that you can continue to meet your fitness goals. Feel like you’ve plateaued in your strength or seem to be always struggling with muscle and joint fatigue & soreness? This class is for you! Athletes and fitness gurus?? Don’t worry, you’ll be challenged! Just starting out your fitness journey? We’ve got you covered too! Let us help you get it started right!

Warrior Yoga (occasional offering)
Warrior Yoga combines the worlds of strength training and yoga. This class takes tradition yoga postures and adds a layer of core work and strength training exercises that enhance muscles and build strength in a different manner than traditional yoga classes. Warrior Yoga utilizes different tools such as dumbbells and straps to add intensity to the workout. Description of the poses in detail and an emphasis on safe alignment make this class ideal for those who are new to yoga, those looking to get more exercise in their practice, and athletes looking for a new challenge -all levels are welcome. Come ready to sweat, and prepare to leave empowered and strong.
