meet  the  team!

MP Fit Club & Studio has over 20 certified instructors, each with their own unique background, certifications, and teaching style! While we may have different styles we all have the same goal - motivate and encourage people to get fit and have FUN while doing it!

Beth Birgy
Owner and Instructor

Beth has owned MP Fit Club & Studio since July 1, 2014 and has been certified and teaching group fitness classes since 2009.  She has her group fitness certification through AFAA, has certifications/trainings in Turbo Kick, TRX, RIPPED, Insanity, PiYo, RIP, SPIN, Stroops, P90X, AMPD Kettlebell, AMPD Strength, MOSSA Group Power, CPR/AED, Stages BEATS, and Boxing & Barbells. At MP Fit Club she teaches everything! Cardio Boxing, Kickboxing, Anything Goes Cardio, Body Sculpt, MP Power, Lunch Crunch, the Wednesday Rotations (HIIT/Triple Threat/Wednesday Warrior), Rhythm Ride 45 & more!

​Beth also offers Personal Training & Nutrition Coaching services as a certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach.

Julie Maxon
​​Julie is a long time member and instructor at MP Fit Club! She holds certifications in Group Fitness, TRX, CPR/AED and teaches Body Sculpt, Strength Circuits, and Butts & Guts.

Katherine Squire
Katherine has been teaching at MP Fit Club since 2016 after joining as a member in 2015! She teaches Barre, MP Power, Kickboxing, Body Sculpt, the Wednesday Rotations, AGC, TRX, and Rise & Shine. Katherine is certified in Stroops, TRX, Barre Above - Level 2, Shockwave, WERQ, P90X, MOSSA Group Power and CPR/AED.

Tracy Wood
Tracy has been an instructor at MP Fit Club since June of 2017. She is certified in Personal Training, Nutrition Coaching, Shockwave, Stroops, TRX, CPR/AED, Group Exercise, & Myofascial Release Foam Roller. She teaches Body Boost & Restore, Kickboxing, Body Sculpt, AGC, the Wednesday Rotations, Level Up, and the occasional Cardio Boxing class!

​Tracy also offers Personal Training & Nutrition Coaching services as a certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach.

Monica Leaureaux
​Monica began her instructing journey in November of 2019 after joining MP Fit Club in June of 2016! Monica teaches AGC, Kickboxing, MP Power, the Wednesday Rotations (Triple Threat/HIIT/Wednesday Warrior), and
CPR/AED. She is certified in CPR/AED, Group Exercise, TRX, Stroops, MOSSA Group Power, BOSU Next Generation Balance, Comprehensive Rhythm Cycling, Stages BEATS, and Barre Above.

Crystal Sattelberg
Crystal has been instructing at MP Fit Club since May 2019 and has been a member since 2014! She teaches Body Sculpt, Strength Circuits, Anything Goes Cardio, Kickboxing, Row & Sculpt, Rise & Shine, Butts & Guts, and Cardio Boxing. Crystal holds certifications in Group Exercise, Stroops, TRX and Xtreme Hip Hop Step.

Mike Lents
​Mike is a longtime instructor at MP Fit Club! He has been teaching group fitness classes for over 10 years and has been with MP Fit Club since the very beginning. Mike teaches Body Sculpt!

Nicki Schlicht
Nicki has been a group fitness instructor for the last 12 years, and has been with MP Fit Club since the beginning 8 years ago! She is an ICON/Master Trainer for POUND and a Generation POUND Ambassador, and is certified in WERQ Dance Fitness, MOSSA Group Power, Xtreme Hip Hop Step, Shockwave, and CPR/AED. At MP Fit she teaches POUND, POUND Unplugged, MP Power, WERQ, and the occasional Kickboxing class.

Marissa became a member of MP Fit Club in January 2015 and began instructing in March of 2019. She is certified in Stroops and TRX. Marissa enjoys teaching a variety of classes including Anything Goes Cardio, Triple Threat, HIIT and Body Sculpt.

​​Kelsey has been with MP Fit Club since 2016 and instructing since 2020. She is certified in CPR/AED, Group Exercise, Xtreme Hip Hop Step, Boxing & Barbells, and Functional Training. Kelsey teaches Kickboxing, AGC, Endurance Row, Cardio Boxing, Boxing & Barbells, the Wednesday Rotations, Body Sculpt, Butts & Guts, and Strength Circuits

Jody has been a member of MP Fit Club since 2018 and started her instructing journey in April of 2021! She is trained and certified in Comprehensive Rhythm Cycling and Stages BEATS.  Jody teaches Body Sculpt, the Wednesday Rotations, AGC, and Rhythm Ride 45.

Stef has been with MP Fit since 2016 and has been instructing since 2020. She is certified in MOSSA Group Power, Comprehensive Rhythm Cycling, Stages BEATS, Boxing & Barbells, and CPR/AED. At the gym, Stef teaches Body Sculpt, Kickboxing, the Wednesday Rotations, MP Power, Rise & Shine, and Rhythm Ride 45!

Julie has been getting her group fitness sweat on at MP Fit Club for several years, and has been instructing since 2017. Julie is certified in WaterRower Fitness® and TRX, and teaches Endurance Row!

​Nicole has been teaching Group Fitness for over 14 years and has been with MP Fit Club since 2021! She's certified in Body Pump, Body Combat, CXWorx, Grit, TRX, Flirty Girl Fitness Dance, Comprehensive Rhythm Cycling & Stages BEATS. Nicole teaches Body Sculpt, MP Power, and Butts & Guts.

Allie has been with MP Fit Club since 2021 after moving from Phoenix to MI! She's been teaching fitness since 2014 and holds certifications in Personal Training, Group Fitness, Comprehensive Rhythm Cycling, and is a Nationally Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach! At MP Fit Club she is teaching Rhythm Ride 45, Triple Threat, HIIT & Kickboxing.

Kylie has been around MP Fit Club for as long as her mom has owned it! She stepped into instructing in 2021 and teaches Rhythm Ride 45, Body Sculpt, Row & Sculpt, Butts & Guts, Strength Circuits, Kickboxing, and the Wednesday Rotations. She is certified in Comprehensive Rhythm Cycling & Stages BEATS.

​Jennifer has been teaching group fitness for almost 25 years! She has been with MP Fit Club for 2 years teaching the Beginner Bootcamps and Yoga. Jennifer is a 200hr ERYT - Expert Registered Yoga Teacher and is Yogafit Level 3 Certified.
